Basically its the longest running British sci-fi show in history. Its about a guy called "The doctor" (he's the last of the Time lords) who travels around the universe in a blue box (which is bigger on the inside than it is on the outside) called the TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimension Interspace). The doctor is capable of "regenerating" into another body (not sure if its volountary or involountary) meaning its quite easy to change actors. His current incarnation is played by David Tenant but he has been played by: William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davidson, Colin Baker, Sylvester Mccoy, Paul McGann and Christopher Eccleston.

That's sounds very interesting only I probably can't watch it since I don't get british channels here.  I might look it up though.

PBS (the station hosting Sesame Street) has it on Friday nights but it depends on were you live at. And it's also on scifi (if you have it you will know)
You can't for get about his companions his most resent one was played by Billie Piper i haven't seen yet who the next one is. I miss it pretty regularly.

actually the most recent one was Donna Noble (Catherine Tate) and before her was Martha Jones (Freema Ageyman)
and on another note series 4 just ended in Britain IT WAS AWESOME!!!
