Let me begin by saying at least two characters will die before the end of Haru-Sari.
...But who will it be?
To help sparkle the speculations, here is a list of the main(-ish) characters as well as plausible cause of death:
CHI-MIN HUANG
potential threat(s): involvement with Alberich, Cortinon's schemes, iomigesia/ old age
JUNE BLUE DELIAS
potential threat(s): Calphanika's
LEON YEARNINGS
potential threat(s): involvement with Alberich, elf hunting risks
FRANCIS ALBERICH
potential threat(s): karma? XD
KENNETH E. CORTINON
potential threat(s): involvement with Alberich
MANA
potential threat(s): involvement with Alberich
PHOENIX
potential threat(s): iomigesia/ old age
Keep in mind, though, that someone not in this list could die too. Who knows, the fat doctor might randomly get run over by a trailer... |

| I'm voting for that random feline paramedic. There have been at least 3 rogue elf situations that have required paramedics recently, and at least two of those ended in death. Obviously his days are numbered. |

oh cool thread, Alby being the scheming type I'd assume that
Leon and Mana die.
why? because of this:
1) Leon has stated (kinda) that Alby's gonna have him kill Mana
2) Leon may have Aktadesia but that doesn't mean he's invulnerable Noel was an Aktadesiac and he was killed by magic, and if Mana collapses a building onto Leon he'll be crushed.
3) Alby has already set Noel and that elf to be killed.

I'm gonna say either Chi-Min or June dies. Hence the narration at the beginning. Trying to deny something by smiling... either the death of Chi-Min or June herself narrating from the dead, maybe?
Anyway, I think the other death might be Phoenix, whose death will foil Alberich's plan due to emotional strain. Yeah, it's Alberich, but we know he really does care for Phoenix. So, yeah.
That's just my guess. So nyeh. |

Of course *faceslap* Alby cares for Phoenix, if Phoenix dies Alby could top himself ... perhaps?

For some strange reason, despite him being my favorite character, I really want to see Franny die...  |

PHOENIX will die of putting FRANCIS ALBERICH in perpetual mourning so he can no longer "do his job".
Bri: death by hunter maybe or miraculously survive the blow of death.
KENNETH E. CORTINON guilt perhaps of the death of MANA's death.
MANA death by PHOENIX's hallucination side effects or loneliness.
CHI-MIN HUANG: old age.
JUNE BLUE DELIAS will beat her Calphanika's and turn to LEON YEARNINGS for solace and learn to love him.
LEON YEARNINGS: his song, in this scenario, would be "I will survive" (but im not in charge of that)
Bri (if she lives), Leon and June will walk into the sunset together
I wish June could be with Chi-Min but in reality it most likely won't happen

Alternatively (as we don't know how much Phoenix cares for Alberich yet, I'm going on guesses now), Alberich could die (killed by Leon as an alternative to killing Mana), which drives Phoenix off the edge. She, in return, kills Mana anyway.
...D: That'd be sad though. |

I think that fat doctor will be run over by a trailer-- *hit*
I think Chi-Min will be one of the characters to die, and Mana too. That part at the beginning of the story June says, and a lot of other things (his involvement with dangerous people, and if that doesn't get him old age will)...
And I just think that Mana will die. |
