And thanks! It took me forever to get Phoenix to look like Phoenix on the cover, and it was worth it. |

Again with Adult Chi-min? Does CM just generate that subconciously or are Phoenix and Mana just a tad detatched from reality? or ... something else ...

I feel this way too.
I really hope Albreich doesn't try to kill Chi-Min now that he's seen Phoneix too... It would be sad if that happened especially if Phoenix does care for Chi-Min... I wonder why she does... keiiii any insight?

It's not just Chi-Min, Phoenix too, in her telepathy with Mana looked like an adult. It's safe to say that elves appear as their actual age within telepathic communications. |

What Ladyfox said. Elves like Chi-Min and Phoenix are essentially adults stuck inside childlike bodies. Their grown-up inner selves manifest when engaging in a telepathic communication.
The reason why Mana did not look like an adult is because she's only 8 years old. She is a real child, inside and out, and not just someone who looks like one on the outside. |

ah, cool. Wait that brings up something thats been puzzling me: In the possible case of mana getting to her adult age, (I doubt she'll live much longer) would she still have the "I want my daddy!" type of personality or will she have "matured"? And if she is still the deranged little girl with a father complex when she's twenty-something will her mental image have grown up or not?

Yay, Chi meets Phoenix!
I don't think Alberich will kill him... Since Phoenix wanted to meet him so badly it'd likely upset her if Alberich said "Ok, you've met the guy you've been waiting for, now blow up his head."
...Not that he would say it like that *cough**hides in shame*
...But... Where did Leon go...?
I like older Chi. He looks so perfect for his personality... A child with Chi's type of personality is kind of scary.  But this does beg the question... why does Phoenix want to meet him? Gah, I need to know more!
(I think Mana would still look her physical age no matter her mentality. I mean, you get adults who think they're children but still look like adults[obviously]. Although I could be wrong.) |

OOOH, what a prettiferous cover! ! What apt symbolism (on so many levels) with the wings... Actually, though, I had the feeling that her growths looked almost winglike before. From some angles, anyway. Hmm.
Wow, Phoenix looks so... queenly. That look on her face is somewhere between magnanimous and intensely affectionate. o__o Hmm.
On another note, Alby here rather looks like a smiling statue in the 3rd panel. XD |
