June is always kept out of loop with all this conspiracy going on in the comic! As a result (or perhaps this is the cause rather than the result), she has never met quite a few of the characters. For example, she has never met Alberich so far.

Imagine she gets to meet one or more of these characters. How do you think it'll go? What time, place, or occasion would it be? Do you think she'll get along with the character? Do you think they'll form any kind of a lasting relationship?

List of named characters that she has never met so far:

Alberich
Phoenix
Mana
Noel II (the clone)
Michelle
All of the Cortinons
Im-Guk Huang
anyone else I may be forgetting

I couldn't see her getting along with Alberich. He seems (outwardly) to be the opposite of all the things she values.

Perhaps she could sympathise with Phoenix. I mean, she's dying too, right? I think it would depend on how much June knew.

I think later-comc-June would get along better with Emily than the earlier June, because early June still believed most of the propoganda about elves, right?

All the others I don't get much of a picture for...

Ah, and as a side note, if they'd broken Chi's bracelets June could have had a proper relationship with him... And yet would never have met him, most likely.
Neither way seems to work out for her...

I think I would most love to see June meet Im-Guk Huang... I mean, with all the meddling June does in Chi-Min's life (not that I'm complaining!) I think if she met his father she would have quite a lot of questions to ask him. I think it would be interesting to see how she dealt with the answers and what kind of change it would bring in their relationship. I wouldn't mind having the answers to some of the questions she might ask, either.

I don't think they would form much of a lasting relationship, though. Chi's father hasn't really been mentioned much which makes me think he's either dead or estranged. I don't think she would have a long-term with Im-Guk if Chi wasn't on good terms with him, or didn't know about her conversing with him.

Remember the interview? He's very good at acting nice, and there's a good chance that she'd fall for it. She may have some reservations about him because of his occupation/ status, but she warmed up to Leon pretty quickly. Her impression of him would probably be something along the lines of "wait a minute, he doesn't seem like such a bad person at all." ... Of course, it'd really depend on the context, like how exactly they meet and whatnot.

Noel II is the one she won't get along with, at ALL. XD She'd be curious about him just because he's "related" to Leon, but she will quickly find out what a heartless jerk he is (that's the way she'd describe him). Unlike Alberich, Noel makes no effort to disguise his lack of compassion.

I wonder what would happen if June met Mana, mostly because Mana now is the adopted daughter of Leon and I'm curious how June would react on that(although Leon probably would say he just took her as a shepherd....)

I don't think June would like Cortinon... But she would have gotten along with Emily, I think. And Franny. 'Cuz they're nice. But of course both of them are... uh...

And I think she and Michelle would have gotten along as well. But yeah, Noel...

"You're related to Leon?" >_>

Haven't got much, sorry.

I'm trying to decide if June would like Phoenix or be wary of her. But then, I could be taking my own knowledge of Phoenix that June doesn't have to try to make this opinion and that doesn't work. Maybe she'd do both?

On the one hand, June has shown that she greets elves happily. Phoenix's appearance may or may not influence June with how she feels about her. And that influence may or may not be for good. Phoenix, to me, comes off sliiiiiiiiiiiightly creepy. Would June pick up on that or be oblivious? Would she be jealous of the interest Phoenix shows in Chi-Min?

To me, this particular what-if creates even more.

She'd probably think Mana was absolutely adorable, though.

Well...I would imagine she would ask about his childhood, about what he was like. I get the feeling (from the only scene we've seen of Chi's childhood) that she probably wouldn't like the answers so much. But I suppose it could go one of two ways, either she would feel pity because of his being misunderstood as an elf, or she would be horrified at how inhuman he is. It would be interesting to see her reactions. I would love to learn more about how Chi grew up as well. It would really open up some clues about his character. I get the feeling a lot of the prejudice he grew up with was probably during his time with his "father," and it would be interesting to read, and would also help readers to understand how June's acceptance caused him to fall in love with her.

But from looking at this newest page, I get the feeling we're about to learn a lot more about his childhood already. Wink
